Workplace Stress
Many people experience workplace stress, and levels of work-stress are increasing all over the developed world.
Additionally, mental health illnesses, including depression and anxiety, are on the rise.
Are the two linked?
In some cases, yes. Work-stress can be a major cause of depression and anxiety.
Our research explains how the link between work-stress and poor mental health can be particularly damaging to young adults, particularly those who have never had mental health problems before.
